    The World Owes Me Nothing

If you’ve made it this far at thekylesandler.com than you probably know that I did nearly 7 years in Federal prison for wire fraud, securities fraud and then violating the terms of my supervised release. I’m not going to stand on a soap box and say “I made a mistake” a mistake is forgetting to…

My Approach To Prison TikTok Is Different

I get quite a few comments like the one above. So, I wanted to take a minute to explain some things about my TikTok channel. First and foremost it’s my TikTok channel and nobody else’s nobody is forcing anyone to watch it and if my videos are hitting your “For You Page” (FYP) than you’ve…

This is how it all started…

Although I’ve been told I don’t look it, I’m in my late 40’s. I was born in Baltimore Maryland and adopted at birth into the Sandler family. That’s how I became a Pacific Islander Jew. The gay part came a little later. I had a pretty good childhood although I was always getting in trouble. One of the things that kept me out of trouble was falling in love with radio. I started as a teenager at Radio Aahs the Kids Stations trimulcast in Washington DC where I did afternoons with Jimmy Freeman. From there I worked at 92Q, 101.7 Kiss FM, OC104, X107, Boss 97, Q102, 98-7 The Point, 96X, Z104 and many more.

After a radio stop in San Francisco I had the foresight to start Thedroidguy.com in 2006 ahead of the G1 launch. I quickly grew thedroidgy.com as the first consumer facing Android blog in the world. Several others followed suit and in 2011 I sold the IP for several million dollars. I then launched Nibletz the voice of startups everywhere else and a venture fund and incubator called The Round House. That’s where greed got the best of me and I fell off the rails. It’s no secret (as HBO has done a documentary on me) that I went to prison for nearly 7 years. While in prison I earned a paralegal certificate, and began my JD (making it to 2L).

Today I’m using those skills as a prison consultant and a post conviction legal consultant to assist justice impacted individuals. I am also looking for some W2 employment in either paralegal/legal assistance, wireless sales, sales or radio.

I am a staunch advocate for second chances for offender’s who are going to work hard to pursue the good life, as I’m trying myself. The world owes me nothing as I take full responsibility for what I’ve done. I am hoping for someone to give me a chance to prove my worth.

As for prison and justice impacted clients or potential clients, rest assured that I will use my experience and education to help navigate the most lonely journey in the world.
